While we have been unable to trace any race footage from his first win - the 1977 Jubilee TT - and the 1984 Formula One the incredible film we have located charts a TT record which is unlikely ever to be bettered. It shows Joey as a young charger challenging and beating stars like Mick Grant and Roger Marshall the 'big bike' glory years when Joey scored six F1 wins in a row and his domination of the 125cc and 250cc classes in the 1990s. We are reminded of how Yer Maun overcame injury horrendous weather a missing exhaust and even a sunken boat to claim victory after victory and stunned the racing world in 1995 when as a 43-year-old he won the Senior TT on the Honda RC45 - his first big bike win for almost a decade.
